Corporate Team Building Workshop

CONNECTION THROUGH CREATIVITY

Robert Studer and Sunshine Coast Art Tours facilitated a corporate team building workshop that explored the art of metal works through collaborative design.
In the comfort of Robert’s this is it studio in Roberts Creek, the team from Flywheel Digital collectively designed a metal mandala.

While waiting for the firing of the metal, we took the group to a nearby waterfall and talked about nature and the importance of forest protection.
The team created a wonderful metal mandala to take back to the office – but more importantly the group from Flywheel Digital left with creative competencies that will foster innovation, respect and cooperation in and out of the workplace.

I sat down with the 101’s brewer Chris Booth to discuss their celebrated Pilsner.

'Easy Livin' is one of the few pilsners that I buy regularly. What can you tell me about it? What makes it special?

The recipe is a clean, Czech/ German style Pils. Nicely balanced with a light body – more hops than your average lager but not overbearingly so. Old world Hops are present but with a mix of some newer varietals, largely Hallertau Blanc and Madarina Bavaria. It’s a crushable session beer, great for a campfire or after the hockey game. At 4.7% its considered a light alcohol beverage which is trending.

Named after country music star, Daniel Wesley’s Song ‘Easy Livin’
